in addition to Iktus Carp, the principal lake of 35 hectares (86.5 acres) this second lake, Iktus Sturgeon, open from May to October presents with 15 hectares (37 acres) having a stock of 400 carp, 30 Koi, 80 White Carp all weighing up to 20kg (44lbs) but, above all, 100 sturgeon of 15 varieties; these represent most of the French and, potentially, European records.

Lake

this is a 15 hectare, former gravel quarry, created at the end of the 1970s and opened to private fishing in 2007. The depth varies from 2-10 metres, with an average depth of 6metres. There are very few plants on the bottom, some submerged trees presenting slight obstacles and a stony base to the higher levels of the lake. NOTE; there is an island in the lake.

Carp

400 carp of 4-21 kg (8.8-46.5 lbs) averaging 9kg (+/-20lbs), 30 Koi above 10kg (22lbs), 80 White Carp of 9-20kg (+/- 20-44lbs) but most importantly, the 100 sturgeon of 15 varieties, weighing-in between 9-69kg (+/-20- +152lbs). NOTE; there is a Transmontanus Sturgeon, 2.14 metres long and weighing 69kg (+152lbs) a noteworthy record beater
